The Dinosaur Walk newly launched at the Melbourne Museum is a masterpiece of a highly organic ramp design that is fully accessible. The display consists of a combination of non tactile required gradients with an abundant number of landings for wheelchair and pram users to stop and enjoy the exhibition.

Display boxes, and components of the secondary stairs are setback to ensure a clear and safe arterial path of travel. The collaboration between the Melbourne Museum Design Team and Blythe-Sanderson Group enabled an exciting and universal design outcome that meets the spirit and intent of the Disability Discrimination Act. The Dinosaur Walk will be enjoyed by users of different abilities in the next decade to come.
